Pietro Bencivenga is an Italian contemporary artist whose work explores the human condition through symbolism, layered surfaces and expressive colour.

With a background in pharmaceutical sciences and years of professional experience as a pharmacist, his artistic practice is shaped by the dialogue between scientific precision and emotional intuition. A brief period of study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan further nurtured his interest in visual language, although his development has remained largely independent, driven by continuous experimentation across painting, photography and material research.

Beyond painting, Bencivenga has devoted many years to the world of pastry, where craftsmanship, chemistry and aesthetics converge. This experience profoundly influenced his artistic vision, leading him to regard painting, photography, science and pastry not as separate disciplines, but as complementary expressions of the same creative process.
